The Code of Conduct ensures all members and their families are fully aware of the required standards of behaviour.  Failure to observe the code set down below could lead to either suspension or expulsion from the Club.

Player Code

  • Always do your best

  • Learn and play by the laws of the game

  • Avoid all forms of gamesmanship and time-wasting

  • Do not question match officials’ decisions

  • Be a good sportsman and set a positive example

  • Treat all players – team-mates and opponents – with respect 

  • Treat all Club Officials and spectators of both Clubs with respect

  • Be familiar with, and respect, the rules of the Club

  • Listen to your managers and Club officials

  • Prepare properly

  • Enjoy your football!

Parent Code

  • Always set a good example

  • Do not force an unwilling child to play

  • Do not question match officials’ decisions

  • Do not question  officials’ decisions in front of the players

  • Always be constructive - encourage, never criticise

  • Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results

  • Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes

  • Use correct and appropriate language at all times

  • Understand the laws of the game

  • Enjoy the football!

Spectator Code

  • Do not question match officials’ decisions

  • Do not harass physically or verbally any players, Club officials or match officials

  • Never use foul, offensive or abusive language

  • Never enter the field of play without the permission of the referee

  • Applaud all good play from both sides

  • Encourage fair play and sporting behaviour

  • Ensure all comments are constructive

  • Remember that the players are there to enjoy themselves

  • Understand the laws of the game

  • Enjoy the football!

Manager Code

  • Always set a good example

  • Understand all Codes of Conduct

  • Understand all League, Cup and Club rules

  • Maximise each boy’s potential

  • Consider the wellbeing and safety of participants before the development of performance and take responsibility for all players’ welfare

  • Provide treatment for injured players immediately

  • Never condone unacceptable behaviour

  • Ensure all necessary equipment is available for training and match days

  • Ensure all travel arrangements are clearly communicated (venues, meet times, KO times)

  • Welcome opposition players and officials

  • Enjoy the football!
